The Traveling Wall Remembers Vietnam

This past weekend, "The Wall" visited Hawley Pennsylvania. This is a commorative wall with the names of all those that had passed away, missing in action and prisoners of war from Vietnam. A beautiful memorial. The traveling wall is 80% the size of the real one in Washington DC. It was there for the whole weekend, complete with an early rise, Revielle and at sundown, Taps. Really incredible.

2 Months!

Yep, I kept you all waiting 2 whole months. how bout that? 

Well, nothing more has gone on, but my fingers were itchin to write more. Let's see where it goes, shall we?

New schedule... 

• I am currently being shown at Bean's Roasting House on Main Street in Honesdale, PA. My cards are on display and they are doing surprisingly well. Mother's Day is coming up and who wouldn't love a hand-made card just for her? I know I would! Hint, Jon!!
  
• In May, I will be officially moved into my new place in Hawley, yep, that's in PA as well.
  
• College life is definitely NOT for me. I mean, where am I gonna use linear equations and plot numbers in my real life? I'm 31, I can honestly say "I'm not going to use this stuff in real life.". Oh well, pre-req's are a pain.
  
• Confirmed flight to Daytona, yes, you read correctly! I'm going to Florida, June 1st.
  

I can say that is enough on my plate right now, but do not worry. I will be back. I promise. I swear. It may take 2 months, but keep checkin' back. Please, pretty please!

My name is Jennifer Owens. People online know me as craftylady78. That's right! I am a certified crafter. You name it, I've made it. Right now, I am involved with an online swapping group for scrapbooking and greeting cards.

I am at the ripe young age of 31 and I live with my cat. Sad, you may say. I reply nope, just right for me. Noone to bother me when I am in my zone. Maddox, the fattest cat in the world, understands my need for alone time.

Well, that's all you need to know at this time, but stay tuned, because I have a feeling that I'll be back. (I did spend the time to set this thing up, after all!)
